Rue/Evans Home
Our latest project --a custom home that is now complete and has received final Passive House Certification -- the first new house on the West Coast to do so. This home features an advanced framed double-stud wall system (over 12" total thickness), triple pane windows, an energy recovery ventilation/distribution system, solar hot water system, and an extremely tight exterior shell (.20 ach50 on our latest test).
These customers have documented the process in their blog.

Opal Creek Commissary
This project involved the rebuilding of a commissary building originally built by the Amalgamated Mining Co. in the 1930's at Jawbone Flats, in the Opal Creek wilderness area.
The original building was carefully disassembled, and the stockpiled materials were incorporated into the new structure, complete with an extensive photovoltaic array, micro-hydro system, and large battery bank.
Oregon Field Guide visited the site during construction, and it is available for viewing online.
Visit Opal Creek's website for more information (and for renting a cabin!)
